McGowan's is a genuine Irish country pub, run by Jacqui and Neil, poured with care and full of the sort of easy conversation you only find in a proper local. No airs, no gimmicks. Just a snug bar behind that famous red door, a good pint and a welcome that's warmed regulars and visitors alike.
We're also proud home to the McGowan's Celtic Supporters Club, and when the big match is on, the place is buzzing. Sitting on the Inishowen shore along the Wild Atlantic Way, we're the honest local across from the Redcastle Oceanfront Hotel: the place to swap the lobby for the fireside and drink where the locals do.
Peckish? You're welcome to order in a takeaway and settle in with a pint. Cash and card both grand.
